Disney's Wide World of Sports™ Complex
Spread over 200 acres, Disney's Wide World of Sports™ Complex has quickly become one of the world's top sports destinations. Solely devoted to the spirit of athletic competition, the vast sports landscape includes: a 5,500-seat field house with room for six full-size basketball courts, a 7,500-seat Baseball Stadium, an 11-court tennis complex with a centre court stadium, a softball quadraplex, baseball quadraplex, a pair of youth baseball fields, four multi-sport fields (all with international soccer dimensions), and a modern, nine-lane 400-meter track and field stadium. The complex also boasts the only permanent version of the NFL Experience and the Official All Star Cafe sports-themed restaurant.
These facilities were built for sports with all of the modern amenities today's technology can offer. Every single athletic surface at Disney's Wide World of Sports™ Complex is of the finest quality, giving athletes the ability to perform at the highest level. All-grass playing surfaces at the complex feature fast, elegant and natural Tifway 419 Bermuda Turf, commonly seen in pro stadiums. The drainage systems are engineered to deal with Florida's occasional cloudbursts, dispersing rain rapidly so that delays are kept to a minimum and the action is virtually non-stop.
The multi-sport fields that will again play host to the Pop Warner 2004 Super Bowl have also welcomed many of the top professional players who have participated in the NFL Quarterback Challenge, the NFL Air-It-Out and the Cincinnati Bengals Mini-Camp. Top high school football players have also participated in the Kaylee Scholarship Association Game of the Week at the Orlando, Florida venue, Disney's Wide World of Sports™.
